The MACK Group Completes Asbestos Containing Floor Tile and Mastic Removal Project
The MACK Group, LLC Completes Asbestos Floor Tile and Mastic Flooring Removal Project in Central New Jersey The MACK Group, LLC, a premier asbestos abatement and flooring removal contractor, recently completed a project that consisted of the abatement of approximately 25,000 square feet of three (3) layers of asbestos floor tile and mastic on a concrete floor of a former super market. The project was performed for a national general contractor in order for a big box retailer to move into the space.
The MACK Group, LLC (MACK) was contracted to abate the asbestos tile and mastic that was adhered to a concrete floor without damaging the concrete. The estimated quantity of asbestos containing floor tile and mastic that needed to be abated was approximately 25,000 square feet.
To remove the asbestos tile and mastic, MACK used a combination of proprietary flooring removal machines that they own in their fleet of abatement and flooring removal equipment. These machines allowed MACK to easily remove the mastic down to the original concrete floor surface without damaging the existing concrete.
The project was completed ahead of schedule and without incident or injury in 10 days.
