April 2008 – The MACK Group, LLC, a premier asbestos abatement, demolition, mold, lead, hazardous waste and flooring removal/shot-blast contractor recently celebrated their 6th year in business.

Steve King and Mike Cooper started The MACK Group, LLC in 2002 after honing their technical and business skills at several large asbestos abatement firms. Mr. King’s and Mr. Cooper’s corporate mission is to provide clients with efficient, safe and effective services that meet all local, state and federal rules and regulations at a cost effective competitive price while providing quality service. Over the years, The MACK Group, LLC continued to grow doing larger projects and building up their reputation in the industry. They now have several offices and warehouses and can handle projects across the country.

An example of the type and magnitude of project The MACK Group, LLC can perform is the large asbestos abatement removal project at the former GAF Plant located in South Bound Brook, New Jersey. The asbestos removal project consisted of asbestos abatement of 300,000 sf of asbestos transite roof and siding panels, 100,000 sf of asbestos built-up roofing, 11,000 ft of asbestos piping, 15,000 sf of asbestos tile and mastic, three 5 story high industrial asbestos boilers and the removal of several hundred tons of asbestos contaminated soil. The project was completed without issue, on schedule and the client was extremely pleased with the professional work accomplished.

The MACK Group, LLC Hires New Client Development Manager For Asbestos Removal Services

March 2008 - The MACK Group, LLC (www.mackgrp.com) is a nationwide contractor that provides asbestos removal, asbestos abatement, flooring removal and lead and mold remediation services. The company’s main office is proud to announce the addition of Matt Fay as the new Client Development Manager.

Mr. Fay brings extensive knowledge and expertise in asbestos removal and abatement services as well as demolition and mold and lead remediation.

Mr. Matt Fay is a major part of The MACK Group, LLC’s corporate management team. He is responsible for business development and directly oversees client contact, site investigation, site assessment and estimating and proposal preparation. He is generally the first person to discuss prospective work with the client. Because of his years of experience in the industry, he can advise regarding technical and regulatory aspects of proposed work. Upon award of contract, and throughout the duration of a project, Mr. Fay assumes final responsibility for quality assurance; he makes sure all work is performed as agreed upon with the owner.

In 1985, Mr. Fay began his career in the environmental / demolition / wrecking industry where he served as a Supervisor and Project Manager for five years. During those five years, Mr. Fay was primarily involved with the environmental remediation phases of projects prior to dismantlement. In 1989, he was recruited by a national environmental firm, serving in the position as a salesperson / estimator.

From 1989-2007, Mr. Fay held positions at four national environmental contracting firms. During that time period, Mr. Fay developed a proven track record which enabled him continual promotion within the environmental industry.

Over the last twenty two years, Mr. Fay has been actively involved in hundreds of environmental and demolition projects ranging in size from five hundred dollars to several million dollars. His hands-on approach from project beginning to project completion enables him to maintain relationships, as well as excellent referral business.

Mr. Fay is licensed as an Asbestos Supervisor in the State of New York, New Jersey and New York City. He is also a certified AHERA Building Inspector and Management Planner.
