The MACK Group Completes the Asbestos Removal and Interior Demolition of a Premier Championship Golf Course Clubhouse

The MACK Group, LLC (MACK) recently completed a project that consisted of the asbestos abatement and interior demolition of a premier championship golf course clubhouse in Northern NJ.

The owner wanted to do a major renovation of the clubhouse. In order to do the renovations the asbestos needed to be removed properly before a complete interior demolition of all interior walls and ceilings could be performed. The project consisted the proper asbestos abatement and removal of 7,000sf of asbestos ceiling and wall insulation, 6,900sf of asbestos transite, 6,900sf of asbestos fiber wall board, 6,900sf of asbestos plaster and 700ft of asbestos pipe insulation.

The MACK Group, LLC. utilized HEPA negative air filtration units, battery operated floor scraping machines, shot-blast machines, bobcats, aerial lifts, cranes, forklifts and six of there NJ licensed asbestos workers to bring in the project ahead of schedule and without injury.

The project consisted the proper asbestos abatement and removal of 52,000sf of asbestos roofing, 10,000sf of asbestos fireproofing, 3,400sf of asbestos floor tile and mastic, 150sf of asbestos tank insulation. The owner needed the asbestos removed properly before a complete demolition of the facility could take place.
